"Grass-fed" means the cattle from which the tallow is derived were primarily fed grass. This results in a higher quality tallow with a richer nutrient profile compared to tallow from grain-fed cattle. Grass-fed tallow may have a slightly different scent profile, often described as cleaner and less "beefy" than standard tallow.

While this is a balm containing oils, it should not feel excessively greasy if applied correctly. A small amount massaged into the skin typically absorbs relatively quickly, within a few minutes. We recommend applying a thin layer and allowing it to absorb fully to avoid a greasy feel.

This tallow balm can be used on the face by some individuals. However, tallow and some of the oils may clog pores for some, especially those with oily or acne-prone skin. We recommend performing a patch test on a small area of your face before applying it to the entire area.

The eucalyptus and spearmint scent is moderate, offering a refreshing but not overpowering aroma. The scent is noticeable upon application but tends to dissipate within a short amount of time. It leaves a subtle, clean fragrance on the skin.

A 16oz jar of our tallow balm will typically last several months with regular use. If you're applying it daily to targeted dry areas, you can expect it to last around 4-6 months. If used more sparingly, it could last even longer.

The shelf life of our tallow balm is approximately 12 months. For optimal preservation, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. This will help maintain its consistency and efficacy.
